EMPLOYMENT
Technology Coordinator
(2004-Present)
Tallahassee Coalition for the Homeless
2729 W. Pensacola Street
Tallahassee, Florida 32304

Description:
During the first 9 months at TCH, I coordinated all aspects of the design and implementation of our 9 building data, voice and security network. This involved initial research, pricing and purchasing equipment, hiring and negotiating with contractors, monitoring work, system testing, tracking expenses, writing end-user documentation and training staff. I now manage this campus network as well as the secure, federally mandated Homeless Management Information System database which covers 6 counties in the Florida panhandle.

I am also responsible for day to day hardware and software support (phones, computers, electronic security) for our 30 person staff and for tech support and training for another 25 staff at 15 other agencies under TCH 's umbrella. I developed and currently maintain our corporate Web site (www.TallahasseeCH.org) and our local Intranet databases as well.

Director (1996-2004)
Insite Mentoring Program
Educational Multimedia Department
2792 Page Ave., Ann Arbor, MI. 48104 - 6914

Key Projects:
In May, 2004, I will complete work on a smoking prevention program, which I designed for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. This year long project includes a 3D, CD ROM game (I did all programming, 3D modeling, graphics, writing, audio, video and animation.), a Web site www.theCut.org and a health class curriculum www.theCut.org/curriculum.html. I designed and developed all three of these components, managed the project's production and budget, led focus groups and beta testing sessions and wrote the distribution and evaluation plan, (as well as authored the grants that funded the program and the pilot project). The CD ROM game, Web site and curriculum will be in use by public and private middle schools in southeastern Michigan this fall (2004).

Prior to the CD ROM project I designed and managed an online career mentoring program www.mentoringnetwork.org used by high schools in southeastern Michigan, trained the high school Web team that developed content for the database and wrote the search engine, secure email correspondence and all other CGI scripts for the Web site.

From 1999 to 2000 I designed and managed an online technology training program for the Washtenaw Intermediate School District (in southeastern Michigan). I wrote the grant that was awarded the funds for this program as well.
